VHF NFD 2006
I have been giving out points today in the VHF National Field Day on 2m SSB, from a portable location at SX50736890 Maidenhead IO70wl (608feet ASL), not too far from my home. Best DX this afternoon was MM0CPS/P at IO84bt (482km). Hopefully, I'll be able to go there again tomorrow morning for a little more. Equipment is my IC-706Mk2G with 30W to a SOTA beam 3 element beam, about 10m high on a telescopic fibreglass pole.
