This page uses a JavaScript (version 1.2) to calculate the current conditions on the HF bands when current information from WWV or a similar service is given below. If you can't hear WWV, the links below will take you to the current data.
Note that this can only work on a rule-of-thumb basis and, especially if there have been flares recently, it may be completely out. Nevertheless, I have been using this since I wrote it as a BBC Basic programme four years ago and it is reasonably accurate most of the time.
