foundation licence teaching materials
Please note that the content of this page is now out-of-date. I will try and update it when I get a moment, but for now please do not rely on it for examination training. You might, however, like to look at my propagation notes or the talks I have given.
Following the successful Foundation Licence course that the CUWS held at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge in March 2002 (and other courses since then), the teaching resources we used are available for download below.
The Powerpoint show on this page has now been updated for the new (September 2003) syllabus (TNX: G3ZAY). The test questions relate to the previous syllabus for the moment, and so this does not include questions on the Phonetic Alphabet or Electrical Symbols and it does make a Class A/B distinction.
I have now converted the questions from Word 2000 to PDF (Acrobat) format, as this should enable more people to view it. The content has also changed slightly - I made a small revision in July 2002, which I forgot to upload at the time. Apologies.
Dominic.
