My Shack

It is very rare for me to have all of my radio equipment at one location at the same time, but this photograph was taken in March 2008, when I did have all of my gear at my Yelverton QTH. Obviously, the rigs were arranged especially for the photograph - it would not be comfortable to operate in such cramped conditions!
The items in the photograph (from left to right) are:
- AOR AR-8000UK Scanner - Serial Number 012466; Purchased in 1994. It was after hearing the local 2m repeater on this scanner that I decided to become a radio amateur.
- Yaesu FT-757GXII 1.8-30MHz Transceiver - Serial Number 7J080207; Purchased second-hand from a silent key sale in 1997, just before I passed the Morse Test and got my HF licence.

- Heil Traveler 706 Headset - Purchased at Dayton in 2006.
