CQ WPX SSB 2005
My first major contest entry from home, with the aim more of testing my Hustler vertical antenna and seeing how poor my Dartmoor QTH is than making QSOs. Because of this, and the decreasing sunspot cycle, I decided not to try to defend my SOSB/15 first place, so this was an SOAB/LP entry, limited to 24 hours because of family committments. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of QSOs because of the location, but it was a shame that I narrowly missed my target of 100,000 points.
